“People Ignore Design That Ignores People.”

Frank Chimero, Designer

About me

Hi, I’m Christine Chang, a UI/UX Designer with a unique blend of scientific expertise and creative thinking, passionate about designing digital experiences that make people’s lives easier.

My transition into UX design became deeply personal when my father was diagnosed with cancer. While caring for him, I saw firsthand how difficult it was to navigate most healthcare apps — many were not user-friendly, lacked clear information, and failed to support users who needed them most. That experience sparked a strong passion for improving healthcare through better design.

While I’m especially driven to solve problems in healthcare, I’m equally excited about tackling user challenges in any industry where thoughtful, intuitive, and human-centered solutions are needed.

I hold a Master’s in Biotechnology Management and a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences, which gives me a unique foundation for understanding complex systems and translating them into simple, accessible user experiences.

Growing up across three countries, speaking three languages, and adapting to three cultures has shaped how I design.

I understand how cultural differences, language barriers, and digital literacy can impact a person’s ability to use technology.

My design approach is always inclusive, empathetic, and focused on real user needs, especially for groups often left behind, like older adults and caregivers.

To me, design isn’t just about visuals — it’s about understanding people, solving real problems, and creating technology that works for everyone.

I always design with simplicity and usability in mind.

Let’s connect — I’d love to collaborate on building digital solutions that make a meaningful difference.
